Let’s Get Engaged! will help you learn how to take traditional reminiscence therapy and turn it into an attention grabbing activity. Let’s get engaged with multi-media. Let’s use the classic movie musical as a catalyst to promote communication and interaction with intergenerational clientele. Through the use of familiar classic movie musicals and thought provoking questions strategically placed throughout the activity, client, student, family member, and clinician engage in an activity that stimulates cognitive-linguistic and social/pragmatic skills, enhances communicative effectiveness and puts the fun back in functional.

In this new lecture, be prepared to explore reminiscence therapy with all stages and many different ages, when the movie musical crosses decades and explores themes of empowered women.
